Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Specialist III for a top utility infrastructure client. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the successful execution of capital utility projects through schedule management, cost tracking, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. The Project Controls Specialist will partner closely with project managers, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders to maintain project visibility, identify risks and variances, and ensure projects remain on track from both a schedule and budget perspective. The ideal candidate brings extensive project controls experience, strong proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, and a proven ability to support complex infrastructure initiatives through data-driven decision-making and project performance management.

Skills and Requirements

  • 10-15 years of project controls experience
  • Experience supporting capital projects, engineering programs, or utility initiatives
  • Strong scheduling experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of project controls methodologies
  • Utility industry experience
  • Cost forecasting and earned value management experience Advanced reporting and analytics capabilities
