BluePearl Pet Hospital in Reno, NV is hiring an exceptional Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician!
Pay Scale : $22 - $33 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system, and whether or not you have an active veterinary technician license.
We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.
*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
For example:

Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential

Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

We have many specialized technicians in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care. Applicants should have a strong knowledge base, motivation to learn, and ambition to work in a fast-paced team environment.
As a Veterinary Technician, you will:

Triage and obtain patient history
-
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
-
Place peripheral IVC's and advanced catheters such as Central Lines or PICC lines.

Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
-
Perform diagnostics and outpatient care
-
Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
-
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
