Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a growing commercial and industrial construction client. This individual will oversee multiple projects ranging from office renovations and tenant improvements to large-scale ground-up industrial, warehouse, and distribution facilities valued between $1M and $50M. The Project Manager will serve as the main liaison between owners, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal leadership while managing budgets, schedules, procurement, change orders, and overall project execution. Day to Day:

  • Manage commercial and industrial construction projects from conception through completion
  • Act as the primary point of contact for owners and stakeholders
  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors throughout project execution
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Prepare and negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, permits, and change orders
  • Conduct weekly owner and subcontractor meetings
  • Visit job sites regularly to support field operations
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, and consultants during design and construction phases
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction
  • Support business development efforts and help cultivate new client relationships

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of commercial and/or industrial construction project management experience
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing trade partners
  • Strong budgeting, estimating, cost control, and change order management experience
  • Experience with tenant improvement/interior renovation projects
  • Strong client-facing communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience leading project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
  • Ground-up industrial, warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing project experience
  • Design-build construction experience
  • Experience leading design teams and coordinating architects/engineers
  • Estimating and permitting experience
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • ComputerEase experience
  • Experience managing projects valued between $1M-$50M
  • Existing relationships within the Ohio commercial construction market
