Job Description:

  • Teach graduate-level courses in the Health Informatics program in areas such as health care informatics, computational informatics, medical ontologies, data interchange, data analytics, biostatistics, databases, clinical decision support, human-computer interaction, cybersecurity, quality improvement, artificial intelligence (AI), or related areas.

  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Informatics, Information Systems, Information Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Science, or a closely related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized organization.

  • Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence in graduate education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with online teaching.

  • Professional experience in healthcare or a healthcare-related setting.

  • Experience applying data-analytic/AI methods to healthcare or biomedical problems.
