Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance schedules for all production equipment.

  • Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities.

  • Prioritize work orders based on safety, production impact, and resource availability.

  • Create detailed job plans including labor requirements, parts, tools, and estimated time.

  • Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors and Operations to align schedules with production needs.

  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels of spare parts and materials; coordinate with purchasing as needed.

  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to:

  • Generate and track work orders

  • Maintain asset history

  • Analyze downtime trends

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment uptime and reliability.

  • Monitor and report KPIs such as:

  • Planned vs. unplanned work

  • Schedule compliance

  • Equipment downtime

  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred

  • 3-5+ years experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or industrial maintenance in manufacturing

  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, or similar)

  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, equipment drawings, and schematics

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration ability

  • Data-driven mindset with analytical problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance best practices

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing plant environment

  • May require occasional off-shift or weekend scheduling support during shutdowns or major maintenance events
