Full job description

The Problem As our Public Sector Law Enforcement organization expands across communities, aligning strategic vision with day-to-day execution becomes essential to maintaining high operational standards. This growth requires an integrated operational framework that equips sales leadership with clear pipeline insights, streamlined governance, and reliable forecasting. You will take this from high-level strategic direction to a predictable, data-backed operating model across the entire Law Enforcement team. Location: Must be based in Boston

What You'll Own

  • Serve as the primary sales operations advisor to the SVP of Sales and Law Enforcement leadership, framing business questions and providing data-driven recommendations to guide strategic decisions.

  • Lead annual and quarterly business planning across territory design, coverage models, capacity planning, headcount planning, and goal setting for the Law Enforcement sales organization.

  • Own the operating view of pipeline health, forecast quality, rep attainment, and productivity, proactively identifying performance risks and recommending corrective actions.

  • Partner with Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Enablement, Product, and Customer Success to strengthen sales processes, deal execution, policy adoption, and cross-functional handoffs.

  • Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to refine the sales operating model, establishing clear owners, milestones, accountability mechanisms, and field adoption guidance.

  • Direct the operating cadence and chief-of-staff rhythm for the SVP of Sales, including forecast calls, QBRs, staff syncs, executive briefing materials, and action-item tracking across leadership forums.

What This Role is Not

  • This isn't a traditional backend analyst role, your focus is partnering directly with executive leaders to shape strategy and drive field execution.

  • This is not a purely administrative chief of staff position, 70–80% of your scope centers on core sales operations and revenue strategy.

  • This isn't a people-management role in year one, you will operate as an individual contributor driving outcomes through cross-functional influence.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, Management Consulting, Chief of Staff, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Demonstrated experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior sales executives and influencing strategic decisions without formal authority.

  • Strong command of forecasting, pipeline analysis, quota and territory modeling, capacity planning, sales productivity, and performance management.

  • Deep understanding of B2B or enterprise sales cycles, deal execution, operating cadences, and cross-functional revenue processes.

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation and adoption.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability, with the judgment to distinguish signal from noise and focus leaders on the actions that matter most.

  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce or an equivalent CRM and Excel or Google Sheets; experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Sigma is a plus.

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, shifting between strategic thinking, detailed analysis, executive preparation, and hands-on execution.
