Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Strategic Lease Portfolio Development Specialist based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
-
Manage a portfolio of leased assets throughout the full lease lifecycle, ensuring accurate billing, account maintenance, asset tracking, and financial reporting while supporting portfolio growth and profitability.

Partner with customers, lenders, dealers, and internal stakeholders to deliver an exceptional customer experience, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to improve lease utilization, retention, and renewal outcomes.

Perform ongoing account reconciliations and portfolio analysis to ensure billing accuracy, maintain financial integrity, and proactively address discrepancies related to asset additions, removals, adjustments, and contract changes.

Monitor lease performance, renewal opportunities, and end-of-term activity by leveraging data and reporting tools to identify trends, improve retention, and support strategic portfolio development initiatives.

Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, credit, operations, fleet management, and sales teams to streamline processes, support business objectives, and ensure effective management of leased assets across the portfolio.

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or a related field required.
-
Master's degree or MBA preferred.
-
5+ years of experience in equipment finance, leasing, financial services, asset management, portfolio management, accounting, or a related field preferred.
-
Experience supporting lease originations, portfolio management, asset lifecycle management, lease renewals, remarketing activities, or equipment finance programs.
-
Experience analyzing financial data, managing customer portfolios, and driving customer retention and portfolio growth initiatives.
Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
-
Knowledge of equipment leasing, commercial finance, lease structures, asset management principles, and lease lifecycle processes.
-
Strong financial analysis, account reconciliation, and portfolio management skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using financial systems, reporting tools, and data management platforms to manage large datasets and support decision-making.
-
Experience developing and tracking performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure portfolio performance, customer retention, and business outcomes.
-
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes and resolve complex customer or business issues.

Experience using AI-powered productivity, reporting, or analytics tools to improve efficiency, automate processes, and generate business insights.
