Production Floater

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Production Floater to support its manufacturing and warehouse operations. This individual will rotate between workstations and departments based on production needs, helping with assembly, packaging, quality checks, machine operation, material handling, equipment changeovers, and general production support. The Production Floater must be adaptable, safety-focused, and able to quickly learn multiple manufacturing processes while maintaining quality and production standards.

Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent 2–3 years of experience as a Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role Experience operating or adjusting press machines Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment Ability to read technical drawings and specifications Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to quickly learn and work across multiple production areas Willingness to follow quality management system protocols Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift materials or components weighing up to 50+ pounds Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing required PPE ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Pay Rate: $20-$23/hr
