Job Summary Cancer Center is open M-F between the hours of 7:30am -5:30pm. $5,000 Sign on Bonus! (WDH RN's not eligible) Salary Range: $38.71 -$67.87. Pay is based on experience.
Summary
Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients’ clinical needs and nursing care requirements, ensuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Essential Functions Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records. Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs. Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
Qualifications
Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience in lieu of a degree: No.
Licenses and Credentials
- Registered Nurse (RN) – State License: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (AHA): Preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP): Preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Preferred
Experience
- 3 years of clinical nursing experience required.
- Oncology experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of the principles and skills of practical nursing necessary to provide safe, effective patient care and treatment.
- Knowledge of age-specific care requirements for the populations served.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
