Position Description
The Department of English seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in global literatures and media in English from 1945 to the present. We welcome applications from innovative scholars working across any geographical region, methodological framework, or cultural context within the post- WWII era. Open to scholars working on diverse literary genres and media landscapes including but not limited to book history, print culture, and transmedia storytelling (i.e. cinema and television, video games, long-form narrative podcasts, radio, and new forms of visual and auditory storytelling).
The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2027. In Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, tenure-track positions are untenured.
