Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties
- You will support all facets of Program Management, including, planning, executing, and managing technical efforts supporting the integration and interoperability testing of C5I installations.
- You will coordinate and conduct Planning Definition Survey (PDS) phase of DGSIT program on deploying strike group surface combatants with focus on cruisers/destroyers (CRUDES) and amphibious units.
- You will define testing requirements based on scope of installed C5I system coverage and configuration.
- You will assist in team development of up to 70 GS-12/13 personnel in an aggregated seven ship underway testing environment.
- You will assess efficiencies of DGSIT internal processes across all teams that are linked to operational and system support functions to improve the effectiveness and productivity of the DGSIT program and associated processes.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience supporting all facets of Deploying Group Systems Integration Testing Pacific (DGSIT PAC) program including, but not limited to the planning, coordination, execution, and management of technical efforts supporting the integration and interoperability testing of C5ISR installations associated with surface (CG/DDG/LPD/LSD) units assigned to a deploying Carrier Strike Group (CSG), Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) or Amphibious Ready Group (ARG). Experience assisting in the development of DGSIT program milestones and program documentation for all phases of the program. Experience identifying and assisting in the resolution of programmatic issues between all stakeholders and organizations associated with DGSIT activities. Experience coordinating and conducting Planning Definition Survey (PDS) phase of DGSIT program on deploying Strike Group surface combatants with focus on cruisers/destroyers (CRUDES) and amphibious units to review/confirm individual hull-unique installations and configurations to ensure applicable Subject Matter Expert (SME) support is provided during Final Integration Testing (FIT) phase. Experience assisting in identifying testing requirements, based on scope of C5ISR/IW systems coverage and configuration. Experience supervising and managing systems engineering teams of up to 18 personnel during underway C5I testing. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
