Full job description

We’re seeking Water Process/Process Mechanical Interns with an interest in Process Mechanical equipment to join our team across the country. You’ll have the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it to solving today’s challenges.

As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of engineering services.

You’ll be responsible for providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of Professional Engineers. You’ll use your skills and experience to help deliver and complete challenging and engaging projects. You’ll assist in the design of Water Pumping Systems, valves, specialized water treatment mechanical systems.

You’ll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.

Enrollment in a degree seeking program of Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or closely related discipline

Experience working on multi-discipline project teams.

Coursework in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, or related courses.

Desire to design building water/wastewater process mechanical systems.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

Completed courses in fluid mechanics or hydraulics

Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD

Prior work experience with a design firm in an internship or similar setting.

Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
