  • Partner with Supply Chain on purchasing process and financial governance, ensuring high-value procurement decisions are made with appropriate financial rigor and visibility

  • Develop and manage manufacturing overhead rate structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with cost accounting standards

  • Partner with FP&A and Program Finance to ensure alignment between production economics and enterprise financial planning

  • Support pricing and proposal efforts by providing accurate and defensible production cost inputs for new business

  • Lead financial analysis supporting vertical integration decisions, including build vs. buy trade studies, ROI modeling, and investment justification for in-house manufacturing capabilities

  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on capacity and supply-demand planning, providing financial modeling and analysis to support production throughput decisions and resource allocation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8-12 years of finance experience with significant ownership of manufacturing, production, or operations finance

  • Demonstrated experience building financial infrastructure for manufacturing or production operations, processes, tools, and cost frameworks

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures including overhead rates, bill of materials, production variances, and capital expenditure planning

  • Experience partnering closely with supply chain and procurement on financial governance and purchasing controls

  • Familiarity with facility finance, capital planning, and the financial mechanics of scaling a production environment

  • Strong FP&A foundation: bottoms-up forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis in an operations context

  • Ability to serve as a credible, direct thought partner to operational leaders; comfortable having hard conversations with the business

  • Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing experience strongly preferred

  • Experience at a high-growth or early-stage company a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
