What You'll Do

As a Landscaping Crew Member, you'll help maintain campus grounds through a variety of landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, including:

• Mowing, edging, trimming, and maintaining lawns

• Planting, pruning, watering, and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers

• Weeding garden beds and landscaped areas

• Removing leaves, trash, and debris to keep grounds clean and attractive

• Operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers

• Assisting with fertilization and weed control activities

• Supporting campus beautification and improvement projects

• Performing general grounds maintenance and outdoor labor as needed

• Assisting with snow and ice removal during winter weather events

• Participating in an on-call rotation for significant winter weather conditions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical outdoor work

• Comfortable working in various weather conditions throughout the year

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule

• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment or willingness to learn

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces

Preferred Experience

• Landscaping, lawn care, groundskeeping, gardening, or general labor experience

• Experience using mowers, trimmers, blowers, or similar equipment

• Interest in landscaping, horticulture, facilities maintenance, or outdoor operations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
