Substance Abuse Technician
Setting: Healthcare Facilities
Job Type: Contract - Full Time
Pay: $32 / Hour
Hours: 40.00
Location: Oxnard, CA
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Substance Abuse Technician assists clients from admission through discharge providing client support through the extended substance and mental health treatment process. The Substance Abuse Technician supervises client's behavior and manage client crisis situations when they arise. The Substance Abuse Technician will serve substance abuse clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Certification as a Substance Abuse Technician preferred andmay be required by state/contract
-
Previous experience in an addiction treatment facility orexperience working in the substance use disorder and/or mental health fieldpreferred
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
