Summary

You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the MODERNIZATION & INSTALLATION DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Port Hueneme Division.

Duties

• You will serve as a Team Lead in support of Combat Systems Technical Documentation within the N70 Availability Planning Division.
• You will provide Team Leadership for technical services related to Ships Combat Systems.
• You will provide on-site technical guidance and services to the Fleet, other Naval activities, and contractor partners related to ships combat systems technical documentation.
• You will identify and resolve problems and assist end-users, investigate on-site equipment and computer hardware and document the provision of engineering support.
• You will ensure compliance to requirements from the branch level through Department of Defense level requirements.
• You will communicate with branch and up the chain of command, including sponsors and the fleet representatives as necessary to provide updates on projects.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:providing extensive hands-on knowledge and experience with Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS) processes, products, requirements, and lifecycle support, with sufficient technical depth to independently resolve complex CSOSS-related issues.
