Class Action Litigation Paralegal

Description

A growing regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to add to their team. Cases would focus on plaintiff-side wage and hour class actions and single/multiple plaintiff employment law matters and support up to 3 attorneys.

The salary range is 75-100k with additional bonus earnings. The firm offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k with company contributions, 2+ weeks PTO and additional sick time and 11 paid court holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Manage class action matters through all phases of litigation, including calendaring, file management, and deadline tracking.

• Draft and respond to discovery, manage e-discovery reviews, prepare deposition materials, and issue subpoenas.

• Assist with class certification motions, class member data analysis, and declaration preparation.

• Serve as a primary contact for class members and provide ongoing case updates.

• Conduct factual and legal research; proofread, Bluebook, and cite-check court filings.

• Support settlement administration, damages analysis, and trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, and trial binders.

Requirements

Required:

• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal handling litigation matters

• Complex and/or multiparty litigation experience

• Experience e-filing in multiple Washington county court systems as well as federally through PACER

• Experience drafting motions, discovery and trial prep documents

• Experience supporting cases up to trial, although in-trial support experience is not required but desirable

• Software proficient on eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, use of case management software, Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite

• Skilled in time management, communication and legal writing and research

• Ability to work autonomously in a virtual environment as well as collaborate with a team

Local Washington court filing/procedure experience is required. The role offers fully-remote flexibility. Candidates must reside in the state of Washington.
