Full job description
Parsons Pipe Organ Builders is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support the design, manufacturing, and installation of custom pipe organs. The CAD drafter works closely with the design department and workshop personnel to produce clear, accurate drawings that can be used for fabrication, assembly, and installation. The ideal candidate is accurate, organized and comfortable turning sketches, measurements, and design information into clear working drawings. This position is suited for someone who enjoys technical drafting and detailed documentation and who can work closely with designers and craftspersons on one-of-a-kind projects. Experience with 2D and 3D CAD is required; knowledge of IronCAD is a plus. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Some travel may be requested but is not mandatory. Wage range is between $22 - $24 but is also commensurate with experience. Parsons benefits include vacation, sick time, holidays, Simple IRA up to 3% match, BC/BS 85% contribution.
