Job Description

Beacon Hill is partnering with one of South Jersey's leading law firms to add an attorney to their well-established Education practice representing NJ public school districts in special education matters.

Responsibilities:

Counsel public-sector clients on education, employment, and governance matters

Handle administrative proceedings, mediations, hearings, and related litigation

Advise on student, personnel, compliance, and risk-management issues

Draft and review policies, agreements, and other legal documents

Conduct legal research and provide practical client guidance

Develop client relationships and support business development efforts

Qualifications:

J.D. and New Jersey bar admission

5+ years of experience representing public entities, educational institutions, or similar clients

Familiarity with federal and state laws governing special education, accommodations, student rights, and public-sector employment

Experience handling counseling, administrative, and/or litigation matters

Excellent writing, advocacy, and client-management skills

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment
