Summary The Onbe Program Management Office (PMO) is seeking a highly skilled and strategically minded Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives. This role requires a seasoned professional who independently drives execution aligned with departmental and enterprise goals, demonstrates strong business acumen, and influences outcomes across teams. The Senior Project Manager will manage resources, schedules, and financials while applying Agile and PDLC methodologies to deliver high-impact results. This individual is expected to lead with emotional intelligence, communicate complex ideas effectively, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Independently develop and execute project plans aligned with strategic departmental goals and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Lead enterprise-wide Agile projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
  • Apply critical thinking to proactively identify risks, predict potential issues, and implement innovative solutions with minimal oversight.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, including third-party vendors, to ensure alignment and accountability across stakeholders.
  • Establish and execute communication plans that influence strategy and ensure stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage scope changes and assess downstream impacts to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by integrating feedback and coaching into project execution and team development.
  • Lead organizational change efforts within the role, facilitating communication and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Apply expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Asana) to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Monitor and report progress, milestones, and performance metrics to all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with senior leadership to foster strategic relationships and trust, influencing cross-functional strategy and innovation.
  • Champion the use of technology to improve project outcomes and mentor others in function-specific systems and tools.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of project management experience preferred, including at least 5 years leading initiatives of significant scope and impact. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to apply competencies such as strategic execution, cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking, and autonomous problem resolution in Agile environments.
  • Experience in payments and disbursements is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives with broad impact, managing multiple competing priorities and adapting swiftly to emergent needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, gain buy-in, and lead through change.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas and strategic insights across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and corporate maturity.
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in project management and function-specific technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-identify development opportunities, seek coaching, and apply feedback with accountability.
