This position plays an important role in providing a secure, supportive, and respectful shelter environment for individuals impacted by domestic violence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality while assisting shelter residents and responding to crisis situations. Key Responsibilities: Answer crisis hotline calls, provide supportive assistance, and document interactions accurately. Assist individuals seeking shelter services by providing information, resources, and appropriate referrals. Support residents with daily shelter needs; including: maintaining a safe, clean, and organized living environment. Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and general upkeep of shelter facilities. Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and protect confidential resident information. Respond appropriately to crisis situations while following established organizational procedures. Help promote a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and families.
