Full job description

Adecco is recruiting for a Packing Associate for a client in Liverpool, NY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, paying $16.50 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary:

The Packing Associate will pluck, sort and pack or package a variety of products and materials by hand.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

-Constructs, lines, and pads cartons using hand tools.

-Examines containers, products, and materials for quality control and ensures packing requirements are met.

-Seals containers or materials using tape.

-Marks and labels containers, container tags, labels, or products.

-Enters packing, order, and product information in or on required forms, records, or other documents.

-Transports packages to loading areas or other specified zones.

-Engages with customers, vendors, co-workers (which include leased or temporary) and delivery drivers, etc. with a positive and supportive attitude.

-Conforms to the company’s culture of quality, service, and continuous improvement, while taking personal responsibility for own actions and treating fellow employees, customers, and vendors respectfully and ethically.

-Committed to companies quality policy, strives to do their best in following quality standards

and at all times provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

-Follows all company and OSHA Safety regulations; works in a safe manner and uses personal protective equipment as instructed; reinforces housekeeping and core values.

-Efficient with time and task completion, working smarter and not harder.

-Maintains list of pending and completed responsibilities and checklists as needed.

-Seeks out work and assignments when caught up on workload by asking Management.

-Maintains a clean, neat, clutter-free, and organized work area.

-Performs other duties as assigned.

-Assists in other areas of production as required.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

-Ability to follow directions.

-Ability to assess products for quality compliance.

  • Basic understanding of principles and processes of customer service.

-Proven ability to successfully multi-task.

-Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

-Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay Details: $16.50 to $16.00 per hour
