Senior Front End Engineer

Job Description

Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a Front End Engineer to support one of our large OEM clients. This engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining the front-end of web and mobile applications. Key responsibilities include:

1. Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions
2. Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies
3. Align with architecture guidelines for unified and coherent approach to development
4. Performs functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality development
5. Work on continuously improving performance by fixing bugs and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Compensation: $60 hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Must haves:

• 6+ years of front end engineering experience using React

• Experience with NextJS

• Strong experience with Jest for Unit testing

• Experience utilizing AI or CoPilot during SDLC Plusses:

• AEM experience

• Experience with Playwright

• Ecommerce experience
