Math Hub Peer Tutor-PT

Math Hub Peer Tutor Provides tutoring under the supervision of the Math Hub Coordinator. Work Schedule:Tutors work a minimum of 3 hours per week. Tutoring sessions are scheduled according to tutor and student availability. Generally, tutoring occurs during the hours that Math Hub is open. Tutors may not work more than 15 hours per week. This position is only open to current Grayson College students. This position pays $15.00/hour. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - 90% Tutors students in assigned subjects. - 5% Participates in tutor training sessions as part of the tutor certification program. - 5% Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all laws and regulations related to tutoring in higher education. 3. Demonstrates passion for teaching and helping others understand course content and effective study strategies. 4. Demonstrates flexibility to adjust approach and teaching methods to meet student needs. 5. Arrives to work on time as scheduled.
