  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate to patient needs.

  • Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards for clinical practice.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience providing individual counseling.

  • Experience providing individual counseling to adults with common behavioral health conditions, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, trauma, and adjustment disorders.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide counseling services to diverse patient populations using appropriate therapeutic approaches.

  • Experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care.

  • Ability to select and adapt therapeutic interventions based on individual patient needs, diagnoses, treatment goals, and clinical progress.

  • Ability to deliver confidential, professional telehealth services using electronic health records (EHR/EMR), telehealth video platforms, and electronic clinical documentation systems.

  • Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills, including English proficiency sufficient to communicate effectively with patients, document clinical information, and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.

  • Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered behavioral healthcare.

  • Availability for a mandatory recurring meeting every Tuesday at 9:00 AM Eastern Time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active New York State clinical license.

  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary behavioral health teams, including psychiatric prescribers and physicians.

  • Experience working in an integrated behavioral healthcare environment.

  • Experience supporting patients with co-occurring behavioral health conditions, substance use concerns, or more complex clinical presentations.

  • Familiarity with outcome-tracking tools and standardized behavioral health assessments.

  • Experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed interventions, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and other evidence-based approaches in individual outpatient counseling and telehealth settings.

  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency, particularly Spanish.

  • Availability for evening patient appointments.

  • Availability for weekend patient appointments.
