-
Monitor ticket activity and service-board work to reinforce ticket quality, response standards, prioritization, documentation, process adherence, and ownership
-
Track technical development, performance, and readiness throughout the internship program and contribute to structured graduation and advancement decisions
-
Review technical work and provide practical, timely feedback based on ticket activity, troubleshooting approaches, service reviews, and observed performance
-
Handle or appropriately route technical escalations from developing engineers while using escalation situations as coaching and learning opportunities
-
Deliver individual and group coaching sessions focused on troubleshooting, technical judgment, service quality, communication, accountability, and support best practices
-
Partner with the Team Lead, Talent Development to execute established development frameworks, identify recurring skill gaps, and continuously improve the internship operating model
-
Identify patterns across intern performance and recommend training, documentation, process, or coaching improvements that strengthen engineer readiness
-
Develop and maintain technical training resources, documentation, exercises, and learning experiences that support consistent skill development
-
Help translate successful internship-development practices into repeatable approaches that can support onboarding and continued development of engineers across Atlas
Requirements:
-
2+ years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, service delivery, or a similar technical environment
-
Strong troubleshooting ability with practical knowledge of support engineering, ticket management, escalation practices, and service-quality expectations
-
Experience coaching, mentoring, training, or developing interns, junior engineers, or other early-career technical professionals
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows endpoint administration, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Intune, and device-management concepts
-

-
Foundational knowledge of networking and remote connectivity, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN technologies, and common connectivity troubleshooting
-
Ability to evaluate technical work quality, identify development patterns, and reinforce best practices through clear and actionable feedback
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, patiently, and at an appropriate level for developing engineers
-
Strong organization, ownership, consistency, and follow-through within a fast-moving service environment
-
Ability to balance technical troubleshooting, coaching, performance observation, documentation, and multiple development priorities
Desirable Qualities:
-
Experience working within a Managed Service Provider or other high-volume, client-facing IT support environment
-
Previous experience developing interns, junior engineers, apprentices, or other early-career technical talent
-
Familiarity with cloud storage and file synchronization, email-security technologies such as Mimecast or KnowBe4, web filtering, telephony, audio/visual systems, printers, peripherals, and common business applications
-
Experience with Atlas Technica's engineering environment, tools, or service-delivery practices
-
Strong process discipline with an interest in improving documentation, learning resources, and repeatable technical-development programs
