Day-to-Day:

• Execute manual and automated testing for enterprise AI control platforms
• Develop and maintain Playwright and Selenium automation suites
• Validate vendor platform releases and internally configured capabilities
• Create and execute test cases, regression tests, smoke tests, and exploratory testing
• Perform API testing and end-to-end workflow validation
• Validate AI evaluation workflows, metrics, dashboards, and reporting
• Perform SQL and backend data validation
• Coordinate defect tracking and resolution efforts
• Support Agile sprint testing and release cycles
• Conduct production checkout and post-deployment validation
• Partner with Product Owners, Development Teams, Vendors, Risk, Compliance, and QA Leadership
• Ensure applications meet quality, governance, traceability, and compliance standards
• Lead testing efforts across multiple workstreams and releases

Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a QA Consultant for a leading enterprise technology and financial services environment. This candidate will serve as a hands-on Quality Engineer supporting highly visible AI Controls, GenAI, and enterprise governance initiatives. The ideal consultant will bring a strong blend of automation expertise with Playwright and Selenium, coupled with excellent manual testing and QA leadership experience. Responsibilities include validating AI platform functionality, vendor releases, reporting capabilities, integrations, workflows, dashboards, APIs, and critical control processes. This individual will collaborate closely with engineering teams, product owners, compliance stakeholders, and technology leadership to ensure enterprise AI platforms are scalable, reliable, production-ready, and aligned with organizational quality standards. The role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI governance and controls initiatives while helping shape quality practices across multiple enterprise projects.

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

• 5-10 years of Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Testing experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred)

• Practical Selenium automation experience

• Experience building, maintaining, or enhancing automated test frameworks

• Strong manual testing background including: o Test case creation o Test execution o Exploratory testing o Regression testing o Test evidence/documentation

• Experience serving as a hands-on QA Lead across multiple projects/releases

• Enterprise application testing experience

• API testing and end-to-end integration validation

• JSON/XML payload validation experience

• Strong SQL and backend data validation skills

• Experience with defect and test management tools: o Jira o ALM Octane o qTest o Xray o HP Quality Center o Similar tools

• Agile/Scrum delivery experience

• Release testing, production validation, smoke testing, and defect triage experience

• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and communication skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience Plusses:

• Experience with GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI, AI Governance, or AI Controls

• Experience testing AI evaluation or observability platforms (Galileo AI, LangSmith, etc.)

• AI metrics, scoring, dashboard, reporting, and monitoring validation experience

• Experience building Playwright frameworks from scratch

• Experience modernizing Selenium frameworks

• Strong Playwright capabilities including: o Trace Viewer o Network Mocking o APIRequestContext o storageState o Visual Regression Testing o Fixtures o Semantic Locators o Parallel Execution

• Experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript

• CI/CD experience: o Jenkins o GitHub Actions o GitLab CI/CD o Bitbucket

• Postman, REST Assured, Cucumber, Gherkin, TestNG, JUnit, Tosca, Appium, Allure experience

• Data quality, ETL, dashboard, and reporting validation experience

• Financial Services or Banking Technology experience

• Risk, Compliance, Audit, Regulatory Technology, or Governance experience

• Experience mentoring QA engineers and establishing QA standards

• ISTQB, Automation Testing, or Cloud certifications
