Full job description

Based in Humble, TX, this position plays a key part in our employees' satisfaction while helping drive improvements in the space.

You'll work a steady 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday schedule and earn $30.00 - $36.00/hour (depending on qualifications). We also offer:

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator ensures that our hourly and salaried employees are paid on time, benefits are properly administered, adjustments are applied, and activities comply with regulations and company policies. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work with managers, employees, different teams (finance, accounting, HR, etc.), and external providers to ensure all tax, timekeeping, payroll, and benefits functions are completed with the highest level of accuracy and integrity. You'll be a trusted resource for employees, answering their questions and helping them where needed.

We're always aiming to improve, and you'll implement strategies for optimizing business processes and enhancing the employee experience. You'll ensure the accurate, timely administration of multi-state payroll, benefits, retirement programs, and leave processes using Dayforce. As you reconcile employee data and generate records for audit and reporting uses, you'll maintain confidentiality and data integrity. You'll support year-end activities, ensure compliance in all work functions, and help drive internal controls, service delivery, and client satisfaction improvements.

PAYROLL AND BENEFITS COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
  • Multi-state payroll experience for hourly and salaried employees
  • Proficiency in payroll processing, reconciliation, reporting, audit, and year-end activities
  • Knowledge about benefits, 401(k), COBRA, leave, and open enrollment administration
  • Commitment to upholding our company's mission, growth, and values
