Engineering Technician

The Engineering Techicianfabricates, maintains, modifies existing composite and aluminum tooling, prototype molds, fixtures, templates, and shop aids with RTM, VARTM, wet layup or other processes; and assists Engineering personnel in the research, design, development and experimental fabrication of new products and processes. Other production work will be delegated as required. ###### Duties Include - Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues - Assist with the design and development of engineering projects using AutoCAD and other design software - Collect and analyze data to support engineering experiments and tests - Create detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and diagrams - Collaborate with engineers to develop and maintain technical documentation - Troubleshoot and repair equipment or systems as needed - Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met ###### Skills Required - Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software - Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements - Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings - Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems - Excellent problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail for precise data collection and documentation EOE-race/gender/veteran/disabled/sexual orientation/gender identity
