Company Overview
Docusign brings agreements to life. More than 1.8 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using the Docusign AI-native IAM platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).
What you'll do
As a Forward-Deployed Engineer for strategic Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) engagements, you will design, prototype, deploy, and stabilize production-ready solutions using the Docusign Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform. You will translate complex operational, clinical, regulatory, and technical challenges into automated workflows that eliminate manual bottlenecks, safeguard compliance, and accelerate revenue realization across enterprise HLS accounts.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Solution Consulting.
Responsibility
- Lead workflow-first discovery across healthcare providers, payers, life-sciences companies, CROs, and regulated enterprises; connect operational pain to measurable business impact, risk, urgency, and decision criteria
- Design and deliver focused, customer-specific demonstrations, solution workshops, and working prototypes across eSignature, CLM, IAM, integrations, identity, and regulated-signature capabilities
- Architect robust solutions that integrate Docusign with core enterprise and clinical platforms, including Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Veeva Vault, CTMS, Salesforce, Workday, Coupa, SAP, OnBase, and custom APIs/webhooks
- Translate HLS requirements involving HIPAA, BAAS, GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), auditability, identity verification (SMS accountless authentication, AES/QES), security, and controlled access into credible solution designs
- Engage and align process owners, IT and security stakeholders, legal, compliance, quality, regulatory, procurement, and executive sponsors from discovery through production deployment and downstream system reconciliation
- Lead technical discovery, architecture reviews, integration validation, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, workflow diagrams, business-process documentation, and scoped proof-of-concept (POC) activities
- Distinguish clearly supported capability, configuration, dependency, limitation, defect, and roadmap item; establish owners and customer-facing resolution plans
- Partner with Account Executives, Professional Services, Customer Success, Product, Support, Security, and Value Consulting to create a seamless buying, implementation, and expansion experience
- Create and share reusable HLS reference architectures, discovery frameworks, integration playbooks, POVs, demo assets, and enablement materials; mentor and raise the technical effectiveness of other SCs across the broader field
