Director, Global SME Fleet Product Lead
Overview:
Mastercard’s Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) business is focused on enabling small businesses to start, grow and thrive through innovative payment products, solutions and experiences.
The Director, Global SME Fleet Product Lead will be responsible for establishing and launching Mastercard’s global SME fleet program, creating a differentiated proposition that addresses the evolving payment, expense management and mobility needs of small businesses.
The role will identify opportunities to strengthen Mastercard’s fleet offering for SMEs, develop scalable product propositions and work across regions and functions to accelerate commercialization and growth globally.
Role:

Lead the establishment and launch of Mastercard’s global SME Fleet Program, defining the product strategy, program proposition, capabilities, operating model and roadmap for growth

Define a differentiated SME fleet value proposition, identifying opportunities to strengthen and differentiate Mastercard’s fleet offering through new products, capabilities, partnerships and value add-services

Partner closely with regional teams to understand market needs, build a pipeline of opportunities and translate global strategy into locally relevant solutions

Serve as the global SME subject matter expert for fleet, representing the SME perspective across broader Mastercard fleet initiatives and ensuring the needs of small businesses are incorporated into product roadmaps and development
All About You:

Strong experience in product management, product strategy, payments and commercial cards (preferably small business or mid-market)
-
Direct experience in fleet payments, fleet cards or the broader fleet and mobility ecosystem is highly valued and strongly preferred
-
Technically and analytically minded, with the ability to size market opportunities, develop robust business cases and use data and insights to inform product decisions and priorities
-
Demonstrated experience building or launching new products and propositions, and steering them through end-to-end product development lifecycles, from concept and strategy through launch and ongoing optimization

Strong ability to translate customer market needs into scalable product strategies and roadmaps
-
Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholders, markets or regions

Commercially minded, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, build business cases and drive commercial outcomes

Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior internal stakeholders, customers and external partners

Comfortable operating in a global matrixed organization and driving progress through influence and collaboration

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
