SME Client Executive
As a key member of our regional SME team, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent service to existing and new clients across the SME portfolio. You’ll work collaboratively across the business, to ensure a seamless, positive client experience.
We are open for this role to be based in Whanganui or New Plymouth as a preference, however we would also consider Palmerston North as a base.
The Mahi
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality client support, owning a SME portfolio where you will promote services, conduct risk management and working alongside the wider team to deliver solutions to Aon clients.
You will also:

Manage the end‑to‑end client journey, working closely with Claims teams and Aon Business Services (ABS) colleagues to ensure smooth, timely support.

Lead renewal and mid‑term discussions, ensuring advice is timely, accurate, and aligned with client needs.

Contribute to client planning alongside Client Directors/Managers.

Optimise systems and processes to drive efficiency, scalability, compliance, and a strong colleague and client experience!

Champion continuous improvement, using data insights and best practice to deliver predictable, high‑standard outcomes.
About You
You’ll be a natural communicator who understands how to tailor to the situation, whether it be face to face, over the phone or through written correspondence. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with clients, systems and detail – and who takes pride in getting things right the first time. You will ideally bring:
