Full job description

Pay: $26.50/hourly

Location: Wilmington, MA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM — 40 hours/week

Securitas is hiring a Field Operations Supervisor to oversee overnight Mobile Patrol operations across multiple client locations. This is a hands-on field leadership position for someone who can coordinate officers across active patrol routes, respond to changing priorities, and make sure scheduled security tours are completed accurately and on time.

The Field Operations Supervisor maintains visibility over Mobile Patrol activity throughout the shift, supports officers in the field, responds to incidents and coverage issues, and helps ensure consistent service across assigned client locations.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise Mobile Patrol Officers conducting security tours and site inspections across multiple client locations

  • Monitor officer locations and tour progress throughout the shift

  • Coordinate route order and timing to ensure required patrols are completed within scheduled windows

  • Re-route or reassign officers when call-outs, urgent requests, or site issues affect coverage

  • Respond to alarms, access issues, suspicious activity, property damage, and other incidents identified during patrols

  • Coordinate with local law enforcement when incidents require a joint response

  • Maintain regular communication with officers for check-ins, direction, and safety accountability

  • Review digital tour and incident reports for accuracy and completeness

  • Follow up on missed, late, or incomplete patrols and address recurring issues

  • Monitor patrol vehicle condition, mileage, and safe operation

  • Escalate significant incidents and operational concerns to branch or client leadership as appropriate

Systems & Mobile Patrol Administration

This position also supports the systems that keep Mobile Patrol operations running effectively. Responsibilities may include:

  • Using TrackTik to monitor checkpoint tours, live GPS activity, incidents, and reporting

  • Assisting with the setup and maintenance of site patrol tours

  • Programming and replacing NFC checkpoint tags, barcodes, and QR checkpoints

  • Configuring tour timing, checkpoint requirements, exception questions, and photo requirements

  • Troubleshooting damaged or missing checkpoint equipment

What We're Looking For

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make adjustments throughout an active overnight shift

  • Comfortable supervising employees who are working independently across multiple locations

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Ability to review reports and identify missed or incomplete work

  • Comfortable using GPS, mobile technology, and electronic security reporting systems

  • Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to incidents and changing operational needs

  • Experience with TrackTik or similar security management software is preferred

  • Previous security, field supervision, mobile patrol, or operations experience is preferred

This role requires someone who can balance field supervision, problem-solving, accountability, and client service while keeping a geographically dispersed Mobile Patrol operation on track.

Occasional availability by phone or text outside scheduled shift hours may be required for urgent operational matters.

If you're an experienced security professional or operations leader who enjoys working in the field, supporting officers, and solving problems in real time, we encourage you to apply.
