Full job description
Job Description: Job Overview We are looking for a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to improve the end-to-end production workflow from a business perspective. You will identify the bottlenecks that slow delivery, increase cost, or hurt quality, and lead cross-team engineering changes to resolve them.
What You Will Own
-
Map the production workflow from business demand through data processing to delivery; use operational data and frontline feedback to identify delays, rework, resource constraints, and gaps in ownership.
-
Prioritize improvements by business impact, effort, and dependencies; align teams on outcomes, responsibilities, and delivery milestones.
-
Lead changes across infrastructure, services, tooling, and working practices, partnering with product, data, research, and operations teams through implementation and adoption.
-
Establish baselines for delivery lead time, throughput, quality, and unit cost; verify end-to-end gains and turn successful changes into reusable capabilities.
What We Look For
-
Strong software engineering and architecture skills, with experience owning production systems and driving improvements across multiple services or teams.
-
Exceptional cross-team communication and leadership: you can reconcile conflicting goals, clarify ownership, build consensus without direct authority, and keep joint work moving through completion.
-
Strong product sense and business judgment: you understand how technical constraints affect delivery and can identify the problem worth solving first.
-
Ability to navigate ambiguity, combine quantitative evidence with user feedback, and distinguish symptoms from root causes across technical and organizational boundaries.
-
Hands-on ability to design and implement practical solutions, with clear technical taste and attention to adoption. Experience improving complex data production workflows or leading cross-team platform changes is a plus.
What We Would Like to See When You Apply
-
We encourage a resume beyond a traditional career timeline. Describe a production workflow improvement you led: the business pain point, how you found the bottleneck, how you aligned teams, what changed, and the measurable outcome.
-
Important: Your resume MUST include the exact word “Maxinsights”. Applications without it will be automatically filtered out by our internal agent.
Default Benefits:
-
Health insurance
-
Vision care
-
Dental coverage
-
401(k)
-
Paid holidays
-
PTO (Paid Time Off)
-
Sick leave
