Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 601 E ROLLINS ST City: ORLANDO State: Florida Postal Code: 32803 Job Description:
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and outside vendors to reduce equipment downtime.
- Counts inventory levels and enters these counts into a hand-held device.
- Procures inventory by creating requisitions for necessary equipment.
- Follows up on purchase orders and tracks movement of equipment.
- Documents any return or receipt of equipment through the appropriate inventory system.
- Manages data input for inventory control in the information system.
- Assists in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tagging of equipment and monitors location of equipment.
- Coordinates repair of broken equipment with Clinical, Engineering, Biomed, and Asset Management teams.
- Monitors and tracks pumps in collaboration with Biomed.
- Defines the useful life of currently owned equipment and recommends repair or replacement scenarios with Asset Management.
- Manages equipment rental logistics.
- Offers process improvement ideas and additional responsibilities to support the clinical team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge with computers that include Microsoft Suite(Outlook, Excel, Word PowerPoint, etc.), ERP, and hand-held device [Required]
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills [Required]
- Ability to manage stress and handle challenging situations and personalities [Required]
- Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements [Required]
- Current knowledge of medical terminology or hospital operations experience [Required]
- Knowledge of supply chain methodologies, which include inventory control concepts [Required]
- Knowledge of professional emergency preparedness and equipment logistics [Required]
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study: •N/A
Work Experience:
- 2+ of healthcare clinical equipment coordination experience [Preferred]
- 3+ of logistics services [Preferred]
- Experience with inventory and equipment management [Preferred]
- Previous material management or hospital services support experience [Preferred]
Additional Information:

Licenses and Certifications:
- Six Sigma [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$16.79 - $26.86 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
