Utlity Worker

Hawthorn Redbank Redbank Municipal Authority (HRRMA) is currently accepting applications for a Utility Worker. Position Details: . Min. of 30 hours per week . Monday through Friday . Morning shift - 4 hours per day . Starting wage: $13.00 per hour . Wage increase following successful completion of a 90-day probationary period Job Responsibilities Include: . Water sampling and testing . Water plant maintenance . Reading water meters . Posting shut-off notices (red tags) . Water service shut-offs and meter repairs . PA One Calls . Filter evaluations . Assisting with water main breaks and leak repairs . Light sewage plant sampling and maintenance . Pulling and cleaning sewage pump stations . Chemical filling and related maintenance duties . General labor and utility system support as needed Applicant Requirements: . Valid driver's license required . Must be dependable and able to work well with others . Basic computer skills required . Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions . Must be capable of physical labor and lifting when necessary . Must be available for emergency on-call situations . Must maintain a valid phone number for emergency contact purposes . Must be able to successfully pass a background check, including any checks deemed necessary by the HRRMA Board, which may include fingerprinting and Megan's Law clearances This position offers hands-on experience in municipal water and sewage operations.
