Full job description

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Training Coordinator to support employee learning programs and help keep training operations running smoothly in Cockeysville, Maryland. This Long-term Contract position focuses on organizing schedules, assisting trainers and staff, and maintaining accurate training information across the agency. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple administrative priorities, communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement in training effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain the training calendar along with other employee-facing materials that support learning activities.

  • Assist trainers with logistics, resources, and communication for instructor-led sessions to help ensure successful delivery.

  • Help manage employee learning records and provide administrative support for training documentation and tracking.

  • Work with leaders and staff to retrieve and interpret training-related information from internal systems.

  • Handle day-to-day coordination tasks that keep the training team operating efficiently and on schedule.

  • Contribute to cross-training efforts and participate in special assignments that support broader team goals.

  • Build working knowledge of organizational programs, values, and service practices while completing work in line with company, state, and federal standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional related education or a bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • At least one year of experience in training coordination, employee development support, or a related administrative role is preffered.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external contacts.

  • Ability to manage routine processes with occasional variations while staying organized and accurate.

  • Comfortable working with data, including basic calculations, record review, and clear communication of findings.

  • Experience supporting employee training activities such as session coordination, training delivery support, or orientation assistance for new employees.

  • Must be able to meet driving and insurability requirements if job duties involve operating company vehicles.
