Senior Software Engineer (DevSecops & CI/CD)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in software development, DevSecOps, and build automation to support the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical applications. This individual will play a key role in modernizing software delivery pipelines, improving development efficiencies, and supporting cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.

Responsiblities: Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications throughout the full software development lifecycle. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery speed, reliability, and quality. Manage and support source code repositories, automated build systems, and deployment processes. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions and automated testing frameworks. Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. Support DevSecOps initiatives, including secure software development and continuous integration practices. Design and implement microservices-based architectures and API-driven solutions. Establish and promote software architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices. Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, code reviews, and release management. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive process improvements across development teams. We can offer $60-$100/hr depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline. Experience with GitLab for source code management, build orchestration, and CI/CD pipeline development. Hands-on experience developing software in Java, C, and/or C++. Experience with software build tools such as Make, Gradle, and Bash scripting. Experience architecting and designing large-scale, complex software systems. Strong background in DevOps and automation, including: CI/CD Pipeline Design Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Automated Testing Release Automation
