It Support Specialist

This project is a large-scale IT Go-Live supporting a hospital that was acquired. Approximately 1,900 devices will need to be replaced as part of the transition. We are staffing ~25 onsite Deployment Technicians to swap and set up the new equipment. Folks need to be local to the Springfield/Holyoke MA area!!!

Go-Live begins 11/1, with the overnight deployment team reporting at 11:45 PM on 10/31. The hands-on deployment team is going to be needed for as long as it will take to get the 1,900 devices deployed. They are targeted to be needed from 11/111/4, but can go longer. Flexibility, reliability, and weekend availability will be key and required

Hands-On Deployment: ~25 people

Unbox new devices and deploy them (preimaged)

Project: Deploying/swapping ~1,900 devices around Springfield/Holyoke

When: 10/31-11/4

Fully onsite

Pay: $25/hr

• 15 people: Report 11:45 PM on 10/31 for midnight start

• 15 people: Start 8 AM on 11/1

• Target duration: 11/111/4, possibly up to a week (depends how long it takes to migrate everything)

• This will be 1012 hour days

• Devices are pre-imaged, so work is mainly unboxing, swapping and setting up equipment

• Medical clearance required (drug and medical MMR, Tdap, Flu, varicella required)**

• Reliable vehicle required as there may be travel between local sites

• Junior/green IT candidates are OK if they are professional, reliable, flexible and presentable

• Desktop/hardware/troubleshooting experience is a plus, especially since 24 people could potentially stay longer-term

Midnight or 8 AM availability

Reliable transportation

Comfortable traveling between sites

Basic IT/computer knowledge

Professional/presentable

Flexible for longer shifts

Able to complete medical requirements

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
