Our people bring our trusted brands to life, helping millions of people discover expert content that informs, inspires, and drives action. As a pioneering multiplatform media powerhouse, we provide expert content and technology that build valuable communities across all channels.
You'll join our Commercial Product Marketing team, driving innovation across Future's global portfolio of premier digital brands. We connect millions of engaged consumers with leading advertisers through market-leading ad products, high-impact content, and proprietary technology. Our team turns industry insights into revenue opportunities that power sustainable commercial growth.
Description We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Product Marketing Manager to unlock Future’s next wave of mid-market growth. You’ll uncover what mid-market customers need, identify where Future can win, and turn the strongest opportunities into compelling products and commercial offers. Working closely with customers, Sales, and Product, you’ll shape the proposition from the ground up and take it from early validation through launch and growth. You’ll own the market and commercial strategy: defining who we serve, why customers will choose Future, and how to turn a promising opportunity into a lasting source of growth.
What You'll Do You will report to the Director of Product Marketing.
- Discover the Opportunity: Lead customer research, market sizing, segmentation, competitive analysis, and Sales discovery to determine where the biggest opportunities exist.
- Validate Demand: Test customer problems, concepts, willingness to pay, pricing, packaging, and service models before significant investment.
- Define What We Build: Translate customer insights into product opportunities, business cases, and initial PRDs in partnership with Product.
- Partner Through Development: Work with Product throughout discovery and development to validate assumptions, refine requirements, and bring cross-functional stakeholders along the journey.
- Lead Go-to-Market: Develop positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging, sales strategy, and launch plans. Partner with Marketing to plan and deliver external campaigns that build awareness, generate demand, and drive adoption.
- Drive Adoption & Scale: Own the commercial performance of the offering after launch, using customer feedback and data to improve the product, GTM motion, and customer experience.
- Build the Business Case: Determine what to invest in, what to change, and what to stop - and ultimately help establish whether this can become a meaningful new revenue engine for Future.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years in product marketing, product management, growth, strategy, operations, or a related discipline.
- Experience launching a new product, business, market, or commercial offering from the ground up.
- Exceptional customer discovery and research skills.
- Strong understanding of media buying, advertising, marketing technology, or digital media.
- Experience working closely with Sales and customers to validate demand.
- Experience developing product requirements, business cases, PRDs, pricing, or packaging.
- Strong analytical and commercial instincts.
- Experience with high-volume, self-service, automation, AI, or operationally scalable products is a plus.
- Exceptional project management and cross-functional leadership.
- A bias toward action, experimentation, and learning.
- Comfortable operating without a playbook and building structure from scratch.
What We Offer
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401k plus a company match
- Uncapped leave
- When we hit our targets, enjoy a share of our profits with a bonus
- Refer a friend and get rewarded when they join Future
- Well-being support with access to our Colleague Assistant Programs
- Opportunity to purchase shares in Future with our Share Incentive Plan
The expected range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. This is a hybrid role, working 2 days from the New York office. Internal job family level Commercial 5
