Advertised Job Summary The position entails providing strengths-based coaching and intensive professional development to child care providers in assigned region to promote relationship-based care in early care and education settings. Successful candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, experience preparing and delivering training to varied and diverse audiences using adult learning strategies, and direct service experience in early care and education settings. Candidate must be able to work independently but also function as part of a team. Frequent regional, in-state travel. Candidate must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Successful candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of child development theory, adult learning strategies, strengths-based coaching, and culturally responsive practices. - Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications - Professional experience providing direct service to infants/toddlers and their families highly preferred. Cultural and/or linguistic diversity highly preferred.
