Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing the full design and construction lifecycle, including construction standards, permitting, and cost management.
• Strong experience leading large-scale, complex commercial construction projects, particularly tenant finish-outs and/or remodels.
• Proven experience managing large capital and expense budgets; this role oversees approximately $50M-$80M annually.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, construction documentation, permitting, contractor bidding/negotiations, and project closeout.
• Ability to lead and coordinate across internal business partners, real estate teams, operations, developers, contractors, and government agencies.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must reside in NY, NJ, or PA and be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. as needed to support projects.
• Bachelor's Degree OR 10+ years relevant industry experience.
• Experience managing construction within a large enterprise or retail environment.
• Advanced understanding of construction standards, design processes, and project cost structures.
• Experience working directly with city/state agencies throughout planning, permitting, and construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Outlook, and project management software.
• Experience presenting project proposals and construction plans to senior internal stakeholders.
