Full job description

Spectral Labs is building foundation models for engineering physical systems. We're looking for a deployment strategist to figure out where those models can matter most inside our customers' engineering organizations and to make sure they do: spending time on-site with mechanical, simulation and manufacturing engineers to learn how they actually work, finding the problem worth solving first, working with our forward deployed engineers to scope and ship the deployment, training the teams who use it, and measuring whether it moved the outcome. You'll present results and next steps to everyone from individual engineers to VPs of engineering, build demos for new customers, scope work in new industries, and bring what you learn in the field back to research and product. You bring comfort with data and enough programming to work with it yourself (Python or SQL), the persistence to dig past the first answer, sound judgment in open-ended situations with little structure, and a low-ego focus on outcomes. An engineering degree, time as a CAD or simulation user, or experience in consulting or customer-facing technical work is a big plus. We're excited about people who can make an impact, whatever their background. This is a fully in-person role at our office in SF, with frequent travel to customer sites (roughly 25–50%). You must be currently based in the US to be eligible, and we are not able to sponsor visas for this role. Base salary, equity and bonus total $150–220k annually. Benefits include health insurance (with a 100%-premium option), dental, a 401(k) match, and company-expensed meals and commuting.
