Position Summary
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and record keeping necessary to ensure TULSACK’s wastewater treatment and bucket washing systems.
Essential Duties and Tasks

Water Treatment (ALAR)

Add chemicals to wastewater.

Collect and test water samples, using test equipment and color analysis standards.

Record operational data or meter and gauge readings in log book.

Operate and adjust controls on equipment to purify and clarify water.

Clean and maintain tanks and perform preventative maintenance on all waste treatment equipment.

Clean and maintain the ink pan washroom area.
-
Must be able to drive/operate a fork truck, manage waste bins, and prepare roll off container for shipment.

Familiarity with PPE and chemical safety.

Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.

Drive/operate forklift to assist Production Material Handler.

Ensure Waste bin is fully and securely covered each day prior to leaving your shift.
Flexco Bucket Washer

Add cleaning chemicals and water to designated tanks.
-
Collect dirty buckets, determine if they fit the guidelines and can be used in the bucket washer.

Operate and adjust controls on equipment to purify and clarify water.

Familiarity with PPE and chemical safety.

Remove clean buckets and store them for future use.

Drain soiled rinse water and clean tanks weekly.
Qualifications, Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Exceptional attendance and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
