Sony Professional Display Solutions Americas is seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedMarketing & Administrative Coordinatorto support the execution of social media and marketing initiatives while providing operational and executive administrative support.
This multifaceted role combinesmarketing coordination, financial administration, and executive supportinto a single position that serves as a key contributor to the effectiveness of the marketing organization and business unit leadership team. The role is approximately allocated as follows:
50% Social Media & Marketing Coordination
30% Procurement, Purchase Orders & Budget Administration
20% Executive Administrative Support
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and consistently delivers high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Social Media & Marketing Execution (50%)
Manage and maintain the business unit's organic social media calendar, primarily across LinkedIn; but will expand into X, Instagram, Reddit, etc.
Draft, schedule, and publish engaging posts that support business objectives, including:
Product announcements
Customer success stories
Case studies
Event promotions
Thought leadership content
Coordinate closely with marketing communications, creative services, product marketing, and media teams to ensure content accuracy and brand consistency.
Monitor community engagement and coordinate responses as appropriate.
Track performance metrics and provide basic reporting on social media activity and engagement trends.
Assist with marketing campaign logistics and support event promotion initiatives.
Ensure all digital content aligns with Sony brand standards and corporate communication guidelines.
Procurement & Financial Administration (30%)
Own and manage the marketing department procurement process.
Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs).
Coordinate vendor onboarding and documentation requirements.
Review, track, and route vendor invoices for payment through corporate finance systems.
Maintain departmental budget tracking spreadsheets and reconcile spending against approved budgets.
Monitor open POs and invoice status to ensure timely payment and accurate financial reporting.
Support contract administration and documentation management.
Coordinate logistical and administrative support for marketing initiatives, events, and team projects.
Executive Administrative Support (20%)
Provide administrative support to the Vice President of the BU.
Manage complex calendars and scheduling priorities.
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements when needed.
Prepare and process monthly expense reports accurately and on time.
Organize meetings, leadership reviews, and business planning sessions.
Assist with presentation preparation, meeting materials, and administrative follow-up activities.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing coordination, social media management, and marketing support.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting marketing teams in a B2B environment.
Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics platforms.
Experience working with SAP or similar procurement and financial systems.
Knowledge of project management tools such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $23to $31/hour.The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus plan, which is based on company performance and is not guaranteed, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
