Full job description

Description

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

The Amazon Leo satellite supply chain team is looking for a leader to manage and integrate the Global Category Management and Material Program Management functions, owning the end-to-end PCBA and EE/PCB component supply chain from advanced sourcing and NPI/design through production, sustaining, and end-of-life (EOL). You will lead a team focused on developing strategic commodity sourcing plans paired with materials program execution at Electronic Manufacturing Services/Contract Manufacturer partners. Your goal is to build a resilient, cost-optimized, and surge-capable supply base that keeps pace with satellite launch schedules.

In this role you will align a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders and be measured on clear outcomes: supply continuity, cost reductions, dual-source resiliency, and risk mitigation identified 6+ months in advance. The ideal leader thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and brings strength in negotiation, financial modeling, and developing people.
