MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN CARDIAC CARE 7 North (7N) is a specialized cardiac telemetry unit caring for patients recovering from cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, including CABG and TAVR procedures. Patients typically transition to 7N after stabilizing in critical care. Our nurses care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, including those with Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs), chest tubes, central lines, and temporary pacemakers. POSITION PURPOSE The Acute Care RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating with the interdisciplinary team; and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current Iowa RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS required
• ACLS required for units with telemetry monitoring
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire
• Basic computer skills
