Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Corporate Functions architecture strategies and roadmaps aligned with business priorities, regulatory obligations, enterprise standards, and the bank’s technology direction.

  • Maintain target-state architectures for Finance capabilities and platforms, including enterprise resource planning, enterprise performance management, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, consolidation, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, financial close and reporting, and related Oracle Financials products used by the bank.

  • Provide supporting architecture leadership for Human Capital Management, source-to-pay, procurement, travel and expense, Enterprise Risk, Legal, Facilities, and other corporate shared services.

  • Guide the modernization of Oracle Financials and related corporate platforms, including SaaS adoption, upgrades, integration, data conversion, controls, and the retirement of redundant capabilities.

  • Translate CFO and Corporate Functions priorities into capability, data, application, integration, and investment roadmaps.

  • Define cross-platform patterns for master and reference data, identity, segregation of duties, controls automation, records retention, regulatory reporting, and authoritative data sources.

  • Align technology investment, consumption, and cost transparency with Finance and enterprise portfolio decisions, including appropriate financial operations practices.

  • Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Enterprise Risk, Tax, Legal, Facilities, data, cybersecurity, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to resolve cross-domain dependencies and sequencing decisions.

  • Evaluate vendor and platform options for enterprise fit, functional coverage, integration, cost, resilience, third-party risk, and the avoidance of unnecessary duplication.

  • Provide architecture governance and implementation oversight through delivery and lifecycle checkpoints while maintaining the distinction between enterprise architecture and day-to-day solution delivery.

Domain and Architecture Expertise

  • Finance capabilities, including general ledger, chart of accounts, consolidation, financial close, accounts payable and receivable, assets, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, regulatory reporting, and enterprise performance management.

  • Oracle Financials and adjacent Oracle products used for enterprise resource planning, enterprise performance management, planning, consolidation, reporting, and financial operations, together with enterprise integration and data services.

  • Human Resources and workforce platforms such as Workday; procurement and corporate platforms such as SAP Ariba and SAP Concur; and supporting Legal, Tax, Facilities, and Enterprise Risk capabilities.

  • SaaS architecture, vendor lifecycle management, tenant and release strategy, configuration governance, extensibility, integration, data migration, and exit planning.

  • Financial and workforce data architecture, master and reference data, metadata, lineage, reconciliation, data quality, analytics, and authoritative-source design.

  • Identity and access management, segregation of duties, privileged access, records retention, privacy, controls automation, audit evidence, and operational resilience.

  • Modern architecture patterns, including APIs, events, integration platforms, cloud services, data platforms, workflows, and automation.

  • Applicable financial services and corporate control requirements, including SOX, GLBA, FFIEC guidance, privacy obligations, and internal risk frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise, domain, solution, application, or data architecture, including at least 5 years supporting Finance or Corporate Functions platforms.

  • Experience architecting enterprise resource planning, enterprise performance management, general ledger, treasury, financial reporting, procurement, Human Resources, or related enterprise platforms within a complex, regulated organization.

  • Demonstrated experience developing capability models, target-state architectures, reference patterns, roadmaps, and transition plans.

  • Experience with SaaS, enterprise integration, identity and access controls, data architecture, vendor evaluation, and platform modernization.

  • Ability to influence senior Finance, business, technology, risk, and governance stakeholders and clearly communicate decisions, dependencies, and investment tradeoffs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Architecture experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management, Workday, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, or comparable enterprise platforms.

  • Experience with financial close, planning, consolidation, treasury, tax, regulatory reporting, controls automation, or financial data modernization.

  • Experience within a large financial institution with complex legacy, regulatory, data lineage, and operational resilience requirements.

  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture methods and tools, including capability models, value streams, roadmaps, and architecture repositories.
