What We Want We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the daily operations of Continuing and Professional Education (CPED). The ideal candidate will be a technical problem-solver who can balance multiple projects at one time with high-end customer support. They need expertise in managing in person training events, customer support excellence, a collaborative team member attitude.

What You Need to Know

Salary: $48,000.00 to $52,000.00

Essential Duties/Tasks

Continuing and Professional Education Event Coordination

  • Coordinates and manages CPED’s in person professional development programing.

  • Works alongside partners for logistical planning and implementation of CPED in person programs.

  • Compiles data and prepares reports.

CPED Program Support

  • Collaborates with the CPED Team on various projects.

  • Assists with proposal creation and partner meetings.

  • Creates marketing and training materials for the unit.

Constituent Management and Support

  • Supports the network of CPED users across Texas A&M University at College Station.

  • Assists the CPED Team with constituent project timelines and recruitment efforts.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with event coordination.

  • Experience using a learning management system (LMS), such as Canvas.

  • Experience creating and editing technical documents

  • Experience with video creation and editing.

  • Experience managing multiple constituents.

  • Experience working in K-12 education, higher education, or related field with organizational processes preferred.

  • Ability to function in a deadline driven environment with multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated commitment to consultation and cooperation with students, faculty, staff and administrators.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to visualize, organize, and provide feedback.

  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in an environment with a varying population representing differing interests and perspectives.

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
