Full job description
Our client, Healthcare Services is seeking a Medical Device Technician to join their team. As a Medical Device Technician, you will be part of the Service Center team supporting depot service operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to accurate documentation, and the ability to communicate clearly across functional groups, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Medical Device Technician
Location: Oakdale, Minnesota (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?
-
Diagnose and repair healthcare hardware devices (electronic or mechanical)

Troubleshoot, clean, and repair customer devices using common tools and required test equipment.

Operate a PC using Microsoft Windows and maintain basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Generate and process service repair documentation to maintain repair traceability and support customer invoicing.

Create repair estimates, including service parts and labor costs, while maintaining a clean and orderly workcell.
What's Needed?

Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic and/or mechanical equipment.

Ability to operate common tools and test equipment used for device repair.

Basic, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, plus the ability to use Microsoft Windows on a PC.

Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with customer service, depot repair technicians, and management.

Ability to maintain local service parts inventories with support from the HCSC Materials Control team.
